Driving from Sydney to the Blue Mountains takes around 1.5 to 2 hours. Alternatively, you can take a direct train from Sydney Central Station to Katoomba, which runs hourly and takes around 2 hours. The train is a scenic and relaxing way to travel, especially in winter.
